Morocco: Holiday Outfit #1 (Pool)

I've just come back from an amazing 11 day holiday to Marrakech, Morocco with my family. I took a few photos while I was out there, of some of the outfits I wore, the beautiful hotel and the interesting city itself. I've decided to do a short series of posts, showing you just a snippet of the lovely time I had.

Before I left, I prepped my body for the sun by shaving, exfoliating and moisturising. It's so important to do this so your skin is in good condition before you expose it to sunlight! You could also remove hair using laser hair removal, which I have heard is far more effective than shaving for keeping hairs away for the entire duration of your holiday.

On the first day, temperatures hit 45 degrees Celsius, which I was definitely not prepared for coming from Britain! We decided to spend the day lounging by the pool, and I started on the massive pile of books I had brought with me. I started with "Eat, Pray, Love" by Elizabeth Gilbert, which is the perfect holiday read and left me feeling very enlightened and content. I made some friends by the pool which was more difficult than it initially sounds, because almost all of the hotel's guests were French! It was fantastic to practice my skills with native speakers.

For my poolside outfit, I wore a sky blue bikini from Primark and a floral patterned dress from H&M with the most gorgeous backless detail. Looking back at these photos is funny now I am significantly more tanned!
