Empties #1

I love reading empties posts because you discover all of the products people actually swear by and use up consistently, rather than the ones they buy to jump on the bandwagon and review, then never use again. All of the products I have included are ones which I have tried and tested for months, and continue to repurchase.

I finally got to the end of my Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water, which I have used religiously every night to remove any make-up or grime from my face before doing a second cleanse using warm water and a face wash. It never fails to amaze be how much this product can actually get rid of, especially when I have no make-up on but the cotton pad still turns out to be dirty!
I have used the Liner Feutre by Bourjois to the point where there is absolutely nothing left in the tube. It's perfect to create a thick winged cat-eye look, and the felt-tip makes it super easy to control so I have many less accidents involving wobbly eyeliner!
I picked up the Witch Skin Clearing Primer on a whim when I was looking for a new primer on a particularly bad skin day. It acts as a barrier between your make-up and skin to prevent pore blockage. It definitely helps my skin look smoother and my make-up to last longer!
The Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Nigh Treatment Gel by Boots is possibly the most repurchased product in my skincare routine. It isn't too heavy on the skin but effectively calms and reduces the size of spots overnight. I apply it to the whole problem area after doing my main skincare routine, tie my hair up and sleep on my back.
The Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil is something I have mentioned many a time on this blog before, but it is a fantastic multi-use product for reducing spots. I mix it into my moisturiser or apply a concentrated drop of it using a cotton bud directly onto a spot in the morning, before applying my primer and make-up, as it doesn't affect the way make-up sits on your skin like most spot treatments do.
Next up is the Clean & Clear Skin Brightening Daily Facial Scrub. This product does a great job at waking my skin up in the morning and giving it an extra boost of radiance. I have also noticed a difference in my acne scars since using this, as it brightens the skin.
The Natural Collection Solo Eyeshadows are definitely an unsung hero of the beauty world. My favourite shade is called Willow and it is a gorgeous dusty pink colour with just the right amount of shimmer. My favourite way to wear it is to simply apply it all over the lid with a winged eyeliner look and long lashes.
Finally, I have finished up my 3rd? 4th? tube of the Simple Oil Balancing Moisturiser. This is definitely a skin saviour for me, as my skin is relatively oily and blemish-prone so I can't use heavy moisturisers as they just break me out. However, this product is light on the skin and gives it the hydration it needs without making it greasy, and sinks in really well before applying make-up.
