Mini Make-up Revolution Haul

I was on the look-out for a couple of new eyeshadows to add to my collection as I've almost hit pan on a lot of my everyday shades, but I ended up leaving town with 44 eyeshadows and highlight! I can't help myself when it comes to buying MUR products, as they're so affordable but don't compromise on quality.

I already absolutely loved the Vivid Baked Highlighter in the shade 'Pink Lights' and have used it to death, applying it almost every day. It is quite a striking highlight and very easy to go overboard with. I'm not one to complain about sparkles, but I decided to pick up the slightly more natural, peachy shade called 'Peach Lights'. After swatching it I think it would be perfect for wearing during the day as it is more subtle and just adds a lovely healthy glow - I can't wait to add it into my daily routine!

I've had my eye on the Beyond Flawless eyeshadow palette for quite some time, but couldn't really justify to myself buying it when I already owned so many similar shades. So, when I realised I was running low on some of my favourite everyday shades, I couldn't wait to this out! I think it is the perfect palette for somebody just starting out with make-up, or if you want every shade you could ever possibly need all in one place. There is a good mixture of shimmers and more matte shades, and the colour range gives you the opportunity to create lots of different looks, whether you want to go more natural or for a bold smokey eye. The eyeshadows all have impressive pigmentation for the price tag, as MUR shadows usually do.

The Iconic Elements palette also caught my eye as I don't actually own many matte eyeshadows at all. I'm really looking forward to trying out some more natural, effortless eye looks by just enhancing my eyes with a all-over colour and a slightly darker shade for the outer corner and crease. I'm a huge fan of the MUR Iconic palettes and already own number 2 & 3, which are fantastic dupes for the Naked palettes if you don't want to fork out lots of cash for them!
