I was recently contacted by a brand called Maple Holistics, a natural, cruelty free brand which specialises in haircare and skincare. Obviously I jumped at the opportunity to try out some of their bestselling products, as I'm always on the look-out for products which really work to show you guys! I have been testing these products out for about a month, so I have a pretty good idea of how they work and what benefits they actually provide. I was very excited to be sent a shampoo & conditioner combination, because my hair is extremely long and difficult to manage. Both the Argan Oil Shampoo* and the Silk 18 Conditioner* are wonderfully soft and lather well. I was really impressed by the finish they gave my hair - it was the shiniest it has been in months and my mum even asked if I'd been using anything different, and whether she could use it too!
I've also been trying out the Maple Holistics Vitamin C Serum*. I was originally a bit dubious about it, because it's aimed at anti-aging which I certainly don't need at the age of 17! I wanted to test it out anyway to get my own opinion on the product before my mum snapped it up, so I applied it morning and night for 2 weeks, after my toner and before my moisturiser. It sinks into the skin quickly without leaving any residue, and it may just be my imagination but my skin always feel a little tighter after using it. I'm pretty sure it has brightened my complexion and made me look more radiant too!
The last product I tried was the Acai Berry Lip Balm*, which as you can probably guess I was thrilled at receiving because I am an absolute lip-balm obsessive. This product is really different from anything else I own - it feels more like a treatment than a quick-fix moisturiser because it applies rather thickly and feels really high-quality, coating my lips with hydration. It fills in any rough patches so would act as a perfect primer before applying lipstick for a flawless finish!
